Villa Parugi, one of the most prestigious and exclusive historic villas near Florence, is the perfect place to make your day or event special and unique.

The villa is framed by a wonderful historic park and equipped with its private chapel, which is entirely fresco painted by Giovanni Stradano, a student of Giorgio Vasari.

The open spaces, the park, the Italian garden, the orangery, the covered loggia, the cellars, the chapel, its many statues and fountains, the several halls, and above all, the huge hall with 7-meter-high ceilings make this Villa the ideal location to make the most of your exclusive event in Tuscany so that it represents a unique and unforgettable moment for you and your guests.

The villa is substantial, and you can choose whether to rent it all or just some parts. In any case, the location will always be exclusive.

The bride and groom can have more options; to give you an idea of how many settings there are, you can think of weddings that are completely different from each other, for example:

The solutions are really multiple because they have many spaces, all very different from each other and in the case of rain it is never necessary to set up marque structures.
As for the interior spaces, the Limonaia can accommodate up to 130 seated guests, the Altana 140 seated guests and the Salone 230 seated guests.

The Villa also has 5 double bedrooms, all with frescoes and marble bathrooms. The rooms are only given in the case of events and are always charged separately. From May 2022, a new hotel will open in the former nursery of the Villa, a 3-minute walk from the Villa, with 23 rooms (divided between rooms and flats) for a total of 52 beds. There will also be a wellness centre, swimming pool and restaurant.

Inside the Villa there is also have a consecrated Church entirely frescoed in 1500 by the painter Giovanni Stradano, where it is possible to celebrate the wedding, the capacity is about 50 people. Outside the church has plenty of space and the rest of the guests can watch the ceremony from outside.

The times are regulated by the municipality and we have to stop the music by midnight. Inside, the music stops at 2:00 a.m., but the bride and groom can decide to extend this time and the music can go on until 4:00 a.m., but paying the extra time.

The Villa has an English-style park of 35,000 m2 and an Italian-style garden of over 3,000 m2, both of which can be fully exploited in the green areas and in the bordering avenues. Various spaces characterise the interior, the largest of which is the ‘Salone’ that can seat up to 200 people, otherwise the ‘Limonaia’ or the ‘Altana’ that can seat up to 140 people each, the ‘Sale’ (Sala delle Sinopie, Sala dei Busti and Sala degli Specchi) that can seat up to 100 people and the ‘Cantine’. In bad weather, it is never necessary to erect marquees, and the various stages of the event (aperitif, dinner and after-dinner) can still occur inside, in different areas.

PRICES: On the day of the event, the location will always be exclusive. The basic package (Park, Italian Garden and Stables) starts from € 7,200 +VAT . If other rooms are added, the price rises to a maximum of € 14,700 (excluding rooms, which are always separate), again including VAT. In the event of rain, the bride and groom can decide even 3 days earlier to move everything indoors and pay the difference between the rooms they had chosen and those they will decide to use.

OVERNIGHT STAY: the Villa has five double rooms, all entirely frescoed in 1768 and with marble bathrooms, perfectly restored and usable only for preparations. As far as overnight accommodation is concerned, from April 2022, a new facility, ‘I Vivai al Parugiano’, a resort with 73 beds (33 rooms), a swimming pool and a restaurant, has been opened just a minute’s walk from the Location, within what used to be the Villa’s old nurseries. This is very useful if guests wish to stay overnight near the Villa without travelling by car. I also enclose the 2025 price list of I Vivai, in the price of the rooms breakfast is included and there is no minimum stay (the 2026 price list is not yet official because they are finishing the SPA, which will be ready by the end of 2024). On the dates I have indicated, we are available both with the Villa and I Vivai for all the rooms. The Vivai for overnight stays are available on the day before and after the indicated dates.

CEREMONY: THEY are not a municipal house, so it is not possible to get married in a civil ceremony, but only a symbolic one. The church inside the Villa is consecrated, but obtaining authorisation to get married inside is challenging. The Curia of Pistoia grants the authorisation, and we, as a location, cannot do anything about it. If they grant it, we are happy to make the church available. If they do not grant it, our church cannot celebrate the wedding.

MUSIC: The music can be played externally until 24:00 and internally until 01:00. Inside the villa, the disco can be held in the stables, the lemon house, or the cellars.
