A few kilometres from Verona, in a dominant position on the Valpantena in Grezzana, stands this Villa, one of the most majestic Venetian villas in the province and probably in Veneto.
Originally built as a palace-fortress of the Dal Verme family, in 1437 the property passed to the Allegri family who almost two centuries later (1656) commissioned the architect Giovanni Battista Bianchi to design the extension and renovation of the ancient mansion.
Ludovico Dorigny, Santo Prunati and Fra’ Giuseppe Falezza were commissioned to decorate the new rooms and the imposing halls.
The last descendant of the Allegri family in 1824 sold the Villa to the Arvedi family, silk producers.
The Arvedi family gave up the project of transforming the noble mansion into a spinning mill and maintained its agricultural vocation, with the production of grapes and oil that still continues today.
Today the Villa remains the property of the family, which has made it available for collective use by offering guided tours (booking required), locations for private parties, weddings, corporate and other events.
the Villa was the film set for the film “Letters to Juliet” and the reality talent show “American next top model”.
The villa has large halls and more intimate rooms, a veranda and an extraordinary Italian-style garden that tells a centuries-old story, conveys emotions and provides an exclusive backdrop for filming and souvenir photos.
the Villa is always available for exclusive use, without overlapping events and with the possibility of customizing services.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
